IgCE, Intergenerational Computer Education, is a Chicago nonprofit providing hands-on education in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, networking, digital literacy, and the technology shaping our future. We create opportunities for young people, adults, and seniors to build real technology skills through practical learning and real-world experiences.
Talent is everywhere. Access isn't. IgCE creates opportunities for people to experience technology instead of simply hearing about it. Our learners work with real hardware, networks, cybersecurity tools, artificial intelligence, and Linux systems. We believe access creates confidence, confidence creates skills, and skills create opportunities.
CyberSecure Teens gives young people hands-on experience with cybersecurity, AI, networking, Linux, hardware, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and emerging technology. Students use professional tools, build systems, solve problems, explore careers, and develop skills they can continue building long after the program ends. This is where hackers are made.
Technology should make life easier, not more frustrating. Senior Saturdays gives older adults a comfortable place to learn smartphones, email, Microsoft Office, online safety, scam awareness, privacy, artificial intelligence, and other everyday technology. We teach at the learner's pace with patience, respect, and a safe space to ask questions.
Our workforce programs help participants turn technology skills into career opportunities. Learners gain practical cybersecurity and technology experience while building professional skills, preparing for certifications, strengthening resumes, meeting industry professionals, and learning what employers expect.
The best way to understand IgCE is to look at what our students do after they are given access, equipment, instruction, and room to explore. These are real IgCE students and real outcomes from our programs. Photos are stand-ins to protect student privacy.

IgCE provides IT support, cybersecurity, AI implementation, custom software, automation, and professional technology training for organizations that need experienced technology expertise without building a large internal technology team.
Your technology investment can do more.
Revenue generated through IgCE professional services helps provide Chicago youth with access to hands-on cybersecurity, AI, and technology education, mentorship, and supervised exposure to professionals working in the industry.
Your organization gets the technology expertise it needs. Young people get opportunities they may never have had otherwise.
PUT YOUR TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT TO WORK TWICE.
We manage and support the technology your organization already depends on.
→ CYBERSECURITYWe identify risk, strengthen security, and help protect your organization.
→ AI ENABLEMENTWe help your team understand, adopt, and implement AI responsibly.
→ CUSTOM SOFTWARE & AUTOMATIONIf the solution does not exist, we can design and build it.
→ TRAININGWe provide practical technology, cybersecurity, and AI training built around real organizational needs.
→The IgCE Academy makes practical technology education available beyond our physical classrooms. Explore self-paced lessons in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Linux, networking, digital safety, and emerging technology. No technical background is required. Curiosity is enough to start.
Support for IgCE helps provide equipment, instructors, certifications, technology labs, transportation, industry experiences, and hands-on education for the communities we serve. A donation can help a student gain access to technology they have never used before, help someone develop skills that lead toward a career, or help an older adult navigate the digital world with greater confidence.
